About the role

We're looking for an experienced Registered Care Manager to join us as a Regional Relief Registered Care Manager, providing leadership and operational support to branches across Yorkshire.

This isn't a traditional multi-site management role. Instead, you'll step into branches that need experienced leadership during periods of growth, change or temporary management gaps, ensuring continuity for customers and colleagues while maintaining our high standards of care.

If you're someone who enjoys making a positive impact, building strong teams and bringing stability during periods of change, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Provide confident leadership to branches requiring short-term management support.
  • Build high-performing, values-led teams where colleagues feel supported and empowered.
  • Ensure customers receive safe, personalised, high-quality care across domiciliary, respite and Live-in services.
  • Maintain full regulatory compliance and champion a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities and community partners.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations, Quality, People, Finance and Marketing teams to deliver excellent outcomes.
  • Monitor branch performance, budgets and KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and growth.
  • Share best practice across the region and support the wider operational leadership team.

What you'll bring

  • A passion for delivering exceptional care and leading people.
  • Previous Management experience within a care setting or regulated industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing and motivating teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance.
  • A clear understanding of CQC regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Confidence using systems and data to support effective decision-making.
  • A flexible approach, with the ability to travel between South Hull, Wakefield, Rotherham, Beverley as business needs require.

Desirable

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Experience supporting services through growth, change or improvement.

Why Helping Hands?

  • Opportunity to move into the leadership of a permanent branch.
  • 25 days' annual leave, increasing to 27 days with service.
  • Blue Light Card discounts.
