Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We’re now looking for a qualified and commercially astute FP&A Manager to join our expanding finance team. About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, this role plays a critical part in the financial planning and strategic direction of the business. You’ll lead the budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year planning cycles, support monthly Board reporting, and build financial models that underpin major business decisions.
You’ll be comfortable working cross-functionally with executives, commercial leaders, and the analytics team to provide insight, influence, and clarity on performance—both operationally and strategically.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the monthly Board reporting process and prepare executive-level financial analysis

Build and enhance integrated financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and investor metrics

Manage full budget and forecasting processes, including P&L, cashflow, and balance sheet

Analyse performance, trends, and variances; create commentary and recommendations

Support Plc reporting including interim/full-year results, RNS statements, and investor presentations

Work closely with the Commercial FD and FC to align financial strategy and statutory compliance

Collaborate with departments to prepare strategic plans and provide financial support on business cases

Drive continuous improvement of financial planning tools, processes, and reporting frameworks
What We’re Looking For

Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)

Strong financial modelling and Excel expertise (advanced level)

Proven FP&A or commercial finance experience in a fast-paced, complex organisation

Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders

Highly analytical with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail

Collaborative, proactive, and able to work independently

Comfortable with occasional travel to sites across England & Wales
