Recruitment Coordinator

The role:

At Helping Hands, our Carers are our most important asset and hiring the best talent in the business is what has enabled us to grow into the successful company that we are today. This is a brand-new opportunity to support with the recruitment of hourly visiting Carers.

Working closely with the Area Care Manager, HR Business partner and branch colleagues you will screen applicants and manage candidates through the whole of the recruitment process.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, including telephone screen, interview and assessment and selection days.
  • Ensure that the carer recruitment experience is in line with the Helping Hands values.
  • Understand and deliver objectives in line with the recruitment business plan.
  • To work with colleagues to continually develop the HH brand and excellent service delivery to both customers and carers.
  • Run recruitment events/open days
  • Work towards KPI’s in line with company growth

Who you are:

We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience in recruitment and someone who is comfortable with recruitment IT systems. You will need to be highly organised and able to work at a fast pace without compromising attention to detail.

This position will be supporting 2 branches New Milton & Christchurch 

Recruitment and assessment coordinator, HVS South

Salary: 21-24k, depending on experience.

Hours: 30 per week pro rata  8.30am – 5.30pm, 5 out of 7 days and will require occasional weekend working.

Location: Flexible, post holder will be contracted to work from their nearest branch but travel will be required.

Secondment basis for an initial period of 3 months.

  • Manage a portfolio of candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, including telephone screen, interview and assessment and selection days.
  • Ensure that the carer recruitment experience is in line with the Helping Hands values.
  • Understand and deliver objectives in line with the East recruitment business plan.
  • To work with East team colleagues to continually develop the HH brand and excellent service delivery to both customers and carers.
