Recruitment Coordinator

The role:

At Helping Hands, our Carers are our most important asset and hiring the best talent in the business is what has enabled us to grow into the successful company that we are today. This is a brand-new opportunity to support our North region with the recruitment of hourly visiting Carers.

Working closely with the Area Care Manager, HR Business partner and branch colleagues you will screen applicants and manage candidates through the whole of the recruitment process. This will also include arranging and conducting Carer assessment and selection days.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, including telephone screen, interview and assessment and selection days.
  • Ensure that the carer recruitment experience is in line with the Helping Hands values.
  • Understand and deliver objectives in line with the East recruitment business plan.
  • To work with East team colleagues to continually develop the HH brand and excellent service delivery to both customers and carers.

Who you are:

We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience in recruitment and someone who is comfortable with recruitment IT systems. You will need to be highly organised and able to work at a fast pace without compromising attention to detail.

At Helping Hands, we encourage our staff to bring ideas to the table of their own accord and not seek permission if they have a brilliant suggestion to try. For that reason, this role will also suit someone who can work off their own initiative. This is a fantastic opportunity to see your work directly impacting on the carer recruitment for our region and to support our branch teams with delivery of care.

Helping Hands is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce as we believe this develops a comfortable working environment for all our staff. All applications will be treated fairly in line with our Equality and Diversity Policy.
